Differentiated / Modified Synthetic for Water Affinity (吸水吸湿纤维)

Standard polyester absorbs essentially zero moisture (0.4% regain). This is fine for quick-drying but terrible for comfort — the fabric feels clammy, clings with static, and doesn't breathe. Hydrophilic differentiated fibers address this through three routes: physical (profiled cross-section with capillary channels — transports moisture without absorbing it), chemical (incorporating hydrophilic comonomers or polymer blends — actually absorbs water into the fiber), or structural (introducing micro-voids or pores that hold water by capillary condensation). These are the technology behind moisture-management activewear, thermal underwear that doesn't feel cold when wet, and functional base layers.
