Summary

Phase-change fibers buffer temperature — absorbing heat when you're hot, releasing it when you're cold. They don't cool or heat; they smooth the peaks. The effect is real but subtle (2–5°C range) and marketed as comfort, not performance. See the Textile Material framework.
